Pro-bono nonprofit assistance will be provided by Capacity Building & Policy Experts, LLC to help organizations navigate this period of turmoil. We all have to come together during this difficult time. This is why we will be offering a select number of organizations one hour of pro-bono nonprofit services.

• Organizations that need help with the following will be prioritized:
• Transitions to remote working environments;
• Contingency planning Crisis management, and
• Organizational restructuring.

As a result of COVID-19, many nonprofits are finding themselves in financial turmoil and programmatic uncertainty, particularly since many have been forced to cancel their annual spring fundraisers. Nonprofits are unexpectedly and simultaneously shifting essential functions to remote working environments overnight with little guidance. We are truly living in unprecedented times.

This is why, in addition to pro-bono nonprofit assistance, our weekly publication, Third Sector News, will be running a special series this upcoming week on crisis management, virtual and remote workers, and contingency planning. We will be featuring tools, articles, resources, and toolkits to help organizations navigate this very difficult period. Please subscribe to receive them. Also, keep an eye out for online training to help organizations strategize and manage the Coronavirus crisis.

In the meantime, you may want to consider the following resources, which have been put together by the Center for Nonprofits. Also, don’t forget that this is a very difficult time for all employees in a nonprofit. These types of crises can result in great stress due to uncertainty and fear about the future of the organization. This inevitably results in burnout among staff members. Please check in with one another, support one another, and take the time to practice mindfulness.
